The Open Chair Project provides access to education, consultations, and hair-replacement support for individuals experiencing medically induced hair loss.

Our services are designed to guide individuals through the emotional and practical challenges of hair loss while connecting them with professional solutions and support.

• Hair-loss education and consultation
• Scalp health assessment and guidance
• Cranial prosthesis and wig navigation
• Prosthetic hair replacement support
• Emotional support and confidence coaching
• Resource navigation for additional care options

HOW ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED

Eligibility for assistance is determined through a structured review process that considers financial need, medical documentation, insurance coverage, and available program funding.

Applicants may receive one of the following levels of support:

• Full assistance
• Partial financial assistance
• Navigation and educational support

Outside assistance from other organizations will be considered during the review process and may be applied before Open Chair Project funds are allocated.
